Watch case, dial and hand production are all scheduled to be done by May 31, 2012. After shipping to Hawaii where assembly and calibration will occur, customer deliveries should begin in June.
Prototypes cases (in Stainless Steel, PVD Black and PVD Rose Gold) and dials (6 styles/colors) and hands (3 colors) will arrive in April. If no final design changes are called for, fully functional prototype watches will be completed in late April.
Straps for all of the 12 initial styles of the Ka La watch been chosen. The sportier styles, with black dials and red hands, will feature a real carbon fiber strap trimmed with red leather. The other styles will feature genuine crocodile straps (black or brown) or genuine lizard straps (in black). All of the watches will have deployment claps buckles in a complementary finish (Stainless Steel, PVD Black or PVD Rose Rose).
